Trailing Watermelon Begonia. No relationship to watermelons nor begonias, but it is a beautiful indoor trailing evergreen!
Available in store
CloseTrailing Watermelon Begonia is often called Wavy Watermelon Begonia because of the shape of the leaves which typically have the coloring of a dark watermelon rind - dark green fading to a gray-green towards the center. Leaves do become wavy toward the end of the greenish-pink stems. This plant doesn't go up much in height but trails beautifully. Stems can be cut and repotted if it gets too long, or the top thins out. Trailing Watermelon Begonia appreciates higher humidity and is an excellent terrarium plant, but good drainage is a must.
