CloseWe grew some Oregon Sugar Snow Pod peas as trailers in late season edible baskets last fall and the peas were delicious! Peas are frost tolerant, so you can satisfy your gardener's itch to plant in the late winter/early spring with no harm to the plants. While we planted these sugar snow pod peas in a hanging basket as a lark, you could certainly plant these in containers, as the vines are less than three feet tall. They will need some support, if only to make harvesting easier.
