CloseThis Heavenly Bamboo is all about green, thus the name 'Lemon Lime' Nandina. New growth emerges a chartreuse green in the spring, then deepens to a more stately shade as the foliage matures. As with most nandina, this variety does well in sunny locations, though it is more tolerant of afternoon shade than other varieties. Only three to four feet tall and wide at maturity, 'Lemon Lime' Nandina is beautiful in woodland gardens, container planters, borders, or when used as an informal low hedge. Please note, this variety has not a speck of red coloring as is characteristic of most heavenly bamboo, and rarely blooms.
