'Siam Ruby' is a red banana tree with large red paddle-shaped leaves dotted with random flecks of chartreuse. The more sun, the deeper the red, so be sure to place this beauty in the full sun and keep it well watered. 'Siam Ruby' can reach 8 feet in height with a 3 foot spread, and does surprisingly well in large container planters. This is a definite advantage as the frost-tender banana may then be brought indoors for the winter.
