'Gold Bar' Maiden Grass draws the eye with bold golden bars that cross the entire length of the four foot tall bright green grass blades. A bit slower in growth than other grasses, 'Gold Bar' is ideal for container planters, adding dramatic height, color and texture. It's also a good candidate for sunny garden borders or as an informal hedge. Cut this perennial grass back in late winter/early spring to tidy it up before new growth emerges.
