CloseWhen customers ask about indoor plants suitable for low- to medium-light, we often suggest ferns as an option. 'Green Flame' is the exception to that and actually prefers well-lit exposures but no direct sun. This broad-leafed fern can grow into an upright mound 12 to 18 inches tall and wide, given optimal conditions. Consider pairing 'Green Flame' with finer textured plants such as a maidenhair fern, or a selaginella, though it is handsome enough to stand on its own. As most ferns are pet-friendly, we're assuming this specimen is as well.
