Marigolds are a favorite of gardeners who grow their own vegetables because of the flower's bug-repelling and pollinator-attracting attributes. That they're a wonderful visual addition to summer gardens goes without saying. 'Bonanza Flame' will form compact mounds of orange/red blooms, about a foot tall and not quite as wide, from spring right up to fall, adding a pop of warm color to any sunny garden spot. Pair with like shades and white for an easy-breezy look or mix with darker tones for a bit of drama. And for the record, marigold flowers are edible, so they totally deserve a space in vegetable gardens!
