CloseIt's hard to believe that this Sunshine Ligustrum (aka Chinese Privet) is in the same family as the Waxleaf privet, but it's just as easy to maintain and takes to pruning equally well. An upright evergreen shrub with soft, lance-shaped leaves, 'Sunshine Ligustrum' is a perfect candidate for sunny gardens that need an ultra-bright specimen or far-from-ordinary low hedges. Unlike other varieties within this family, 'Sunshine Ligustrum' bears no flowers, so it is not self-seeding or invasive, and tops out between four and six feet tall, and three to four feet wide.
