Lewisia 'Constant Fuchsia' Quart

Availability: Out of stock

It's not often that we see descriptions by plant breeders that include the words "over watering or over-fertilizing will cause death," but that is exactly the case with lewisia, a succulent-like evergreen that thrives in well-draining soil, lots of sun, and not much water or fertilizer once established. The 'Constant' series of lewisia is tough, surviving both weather and helicopter gardeners, and is a reliable bloomer/re-bloomer from late spring into the fall. The flowers are almost neon pink, standing about 8" tall, and will add that pop of color so often desired in rock gardens and dry landscapes. Lewisia forms a small clump about 10" across, and grows well with succulents and sedums.
