'Wings of Night' Spanish lavender may well be named for the purple bracts that spread wing-like over the tops of the flower spikes. While the flowers are quite different from those of English or French lavender, Spanish lavender is just as drought tolerant and deer resistant as its cousins, and imparts that signature lavender fragrance. Dense gray-green foliage provides a beautiful backdrop for the long-blooming flowers, and maintains its good looks throughout the year.
