A tough, disease-resistant variety of impatiens that will fill your summer shade garden with color right up until freeze.
Available in store
CloseImpatiens has long been the mainstay of color for shade gardens, but in the recent past, many succumbed to mildew. The 'Beacon' series of begonias has come to the rescue with greater disease resistance and thus, a welcome return of those warm colors to brighten the darkest areas of the garden. Impatiens are low-maintenance once planted, as they require less watering and fertilizing than their sun-loving counterparts. In fact, overwatering and too much fertilizer may produce leggy stems and a reduction in blooms, so a little less TLC will result in more compact mounds of foliage and more color.
