The first thing one notices about this hoya is the size of the leaves. They are much larger than that of other varieties and apparently, the flower clusters (when it does bloom) can be as big as softballs on a mature plant. So yes, 'Dee's Big One' hoya is all about size. None of the sources we could find would state the size of the plant at maturity, but we're assuming the vines can grow to at least two feet long, if not longer. As to how long one must wait for 'Dee's Big One' to bloom, one source suggested that it could take up to five years before flowering. We're willing to wait - the flowers are apparently furry with deep pink petals, white highlights, and red centers, and grow in clusters of 20 to 25 flowers that are not quite an inch across.
