Creamy white to pink margins grace waxy green leaves that can climb up a support or trail from a hanging basket.

CloseUse this waxy-leafed hoya as an indoor trailer or a climber; either way, it can grow five feet long and then some. 'Krimson Queen' hoya has thick oval variegated leaves with green centers and creamy white edges that sometimes have pink hues. New growth usually emerges all pink but may sometimes appear all white before developing the green center. A well-lit room is most likely to produce waxy flower clusters and will maintain the variegation in the leaves. Hoyas may be moved into the summer garden out of direct sunlight, but should be brought back inside when the temps drop below 55 degrees. Though pet-friendly, 'Krimson Queen' hoya may be better suited in a hanging basket or trained up a trellis so it's kept out of the reach of chewing dogs or cats.
