CloseUse this waxy-leafed hoya as an indoor trailer or a climber; either way, it can grow four feet long and then some. 'Tricolor' hoya has glossy oval variegated leaves that come in shades of green, cream, and pink. A well-lit room is most likely to result in waxy flower clusters and will maintain the variegation in the leaves. Hoyas may be moved into the summer garden out of direct sunlight, but should be brought back inside when the temps drop below 55 degrees. Though pet-friendly, 'Tricolor' hoya may be better suited in a hanging basket or trained up a trellis so it's kept out of the reach of chewing dogs or cats.
