Can't think of any other coral bells that is quite as frilly as this one! 'Frilly' does well in part shade, but colors may change with the amount of light.

CloseCoral bells are one of our go-to "filler" plants for our year-round hanging baskets, and not just because of their staying power in the Pacific NW. The variations in color, the shapes and venation of leaves, and even their size make heucheras a wonderful companion plant or a stand-alone show off. 'Frilly' Coral Bells is aptly named, as we've never seen a heuchera with such tight, densely packed ruffly-edged leaves. Growers describe its color as mainly caramel, but depending upon the amount of light, reds, golds, and mauve tones may emerge. 'Frilly' does well with protection during the hottest time of the day, and will add textural interest and color to shadier borders, mass plantings, or container planters. Pink flowers rise above the frills in summer, attracting bees and hummingbirds, but the plants are of little interest to deer.
