Red in the spring, black in the summer, maroon in the fall and winter. Dramatic and spicy, just like Cajun cooking!

CloseHonestly, there are so many different varieties of coral bells, it's often difficult to distinguish one variety from another. 'Cajun Fire' coral bells is a rarity in that its leaves start out red in the spring (when gardeners are craving that blast of color after a long winter) then turn almost black in the summer, adding a dramatic touch to walkways, hanging baskets, and container planters. A beautiful foil for blue-hued or silver plants, consider combining this beauty with senecios or lavenders. When the temps drop, 'Cajun Fire' turns a lovely maroon, bringing back a bit of color to fall/winter baskets.
