At first glance, 'Heart Fern' looks nothing like a fern, with thick, heart-shaped leaves on stiff black stems. Its open structure makes it an interesting addition to indoor container planters or on its own. It thrives in high humidity but doesn't like soggy roots, so it's a good candidate for terrariums. Alternatively, 'Heart Fern' would probably do well in bathrooms or kitchens with moderate to high lighting.
