Hellebores, aka Lenten Roses or Christmas Roses, are the saving grace for shade and winter gardens. Blooms top attractive evergreen foliage to brighten the darkest days of winter. 'Ivory Prince' produces burgundy pink buds that open to white, outward facing flowers on sturdy reddish stems. These long-lasting flowers take on chartreuse and pink tones as they age. Deeply lobed, silver-veined foliage lasts year-round, forming mounds that average 12 to 16 inches tall and wide. Wonderful in mass plantings or container planters, hellebores provide food for early pollinators.
