Tough enough to withstand our Pacific NW winters, this variegated hebe takes on pink tones in colder weather.

CloseMost gardeners will have at least one hebe in their yard, and 'Silver Dollar' hebe is a tried and true variety. A small evergreen shrub, this variegated hebe is a bit more hardy than some of its cousins, with the cold weather bringing out pink tones in the normally green and cream leaves. 'Silver Dollar' is middle of the road in size, forming a rounded shrub about two feet tall and wide at maturity, making it an excellent choice for container planters, hanging baskets, and borders. Bees and hummingbirds love the pale purple summer flower spikes, so plant 'Silver Dollar' hebe where you can watch the action!
