CloseFuchsias, sometimes called Ladies' Eardrops, are often the stars of shady summer gardens, blooming heavily from late spring right up until freeze. 'Galadriel' is a standout, with its outer flower petals (sepals) an unusual creamy white, opening to reveal a red corolla. Morning or filtered all-day sun ensure the most blooms, and hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies will mob this upright shrub. The good news is, 'Galadriel' is a hardy perennial, growing three to four feet tall and about half as wide, and will return in the spring.
