CloseHardy fuchsias are so diverse in color and size, one could easily plant a dozen varieties, with no two looking the same. 'Flash' is at the taller end of the scale, growing up to three feet tall and wide in an upright mound. Dainty red on red flowers bloom profusely from late spring right up until fall freeze, drawing bees and hummingbirds all the while. Some sun is required for the best display of flowers, and protection from the late afternoon sun will keep the foliage from scorching. Flash is an excellent option for large container planters, in borders, and as a centerpiece planted with other shade-loving greenery.
