Love the fiddle-shaped leaves but don't want a 10-foot tall house plant? Try Little Sunshine for a mini version with bright green leaves.

CloseThis variety of Fiddle Leaf Fig is the one for indoor gardeners who love the big tropical look but just don't have room for a specimen-sized house plant. 'Little Sunshine' tops out around two to three feet and its leaves tend to be a brighter green than those of its big brother. That said, they both have the same growing requirements, namely, a well-lit room, temps between 65 and 80 degrees, dry feet, and regular misting and/or cleaning of the leaves. If the room is too cold or it's getting over-watered, Little Sunshine will most likely drop leaves. It will also be happier away from heat vents - it doesn't enjoy the dry air.
