A blend of year round color makes 'Ascot Rainbow' a versatile companion plant in baskets, containers, and the garden.
Available in store
CloseMartin's Spurge is hardy enough to provide year-round interest, with fall and winter foliage taking on reddish hues that accent the cream and green variegation. This variety is a favorite at the nursery, and works well in container planters and hanging baskets. Springtime flowers emerge as small reddish eyes surrounded by chartreuse bracts, attracting pollinators and curious humans alike. When planted in the ground, ''Ascot Rainbow' euphorbia is somewhat drought-tolerant once established, and is generally ignored by deer and rabbits. Growing to about three feet tall and high, spent flower stalks should be cut down to the ground to encourage new, dense growth. Wear gloves when pruning, as the sap can irritate the skin.
