Given adequate light and a lot of patience, this Jade Jewel dracaena will eventually become a specimen size house plant.
Available in store
CloseThere are so many different varieties of dracaena, and they all have their own looks and growth habits. Nicknamed Cornstalk Plant because of its upright central stems, dracaenas will vary in height and to a certain extent, spread. 'Jade Jewel' is in the middle of the road, taller than 'JC Compacta' but shorter than Lemon Lime or White Jewel, topping out around four feet as an indoor specimen. It's also a fairly slow grower, so it can be used in an indoor planter with other house plants for a year or so, but if a specimen-sized plant is the goal, give Jade Jewel its own pot. Known for its air-purifying powers, dracaenas like Jade Jewel need to have their broad strap-like leaves cleaned periodically.
