We LOVE 'Silver Falls' dichondra as a trailer in hanging baskets and taller container planters because of its unique silvery coloring and cascade of dense, rounded leaves (earning the nickname Silver Nickel Vine). Technically a tender perennial, 'Silver Falls' is usually grown as an annual in the Pacific NW; however, we have seen this beauty return after mild winters. This dichondra looks its best in sunny locations though it can handle part shade, trailing up to three feet. Pair with intense purples and blues for a dramatic look or use as a trailer in all-white baskets - sheer elegance!
