Cucumber 'Slicing' 4 Inch

Availability: In stock (14)

Homegrown cucumbers cannot be beat, and those who enjoy fresh cucumbers in salads and on sandwiches may wish to consider growing slicing cucumbers. Vines can be trellised or staked to conserve garden space and to keep growing fruits off the ground. Trellis cucumber plants to save garden space and make harvesting easier. Water deeply when the soil is dry, and consider planting bee-attracting flowers nearby to improve yields. Male flowers appear first on long vines in order to attract pollinators, then female flowers emerge to form the fruits, so the more bees, the more cucumbers.
