This is a favorite of home gardeners, with great cucumber flavor, thin-skin, non-bitter, and rarely seen in the grocery stores.

CloseIt looks sort of like a lemon in color and shape, but Lemon Cucumbers are distinctly cucumbers in flavor and crunch. Three to six foot vines can be trellised, producing thin-skinned, non-bitter, rounded fruits with excellent cucumber taste. Though cucumbers generally need regular watering, this variety is a bit more tolerant of dry soil.
