Spreading wider than it is tall, 'Curly Fries' plantain lily is perfect along borders or in container planters, adding a bright spot of chartreuse to shady spots in the garden. Morning- or all-day dappled sun will turn these rippled leaves yellow, making it stand out all the more. Lavender flower spikes will emerge in the summer, bringing out the hummingbirds and bees. Daintier than many other hostas, 'Curly Fries' will pair nicely with summer foliage plants such as iresine or coleus, as well as begonias or fuchsias.
