CloseGeraniums are known for their heat tolerance, and 'Rocky Mountain Violet' is especially adept at handling warmer temps and all-day sun. Big enough to use as a low informal summer hedge and small enough to thrive in container planters and hanging baskets, this variety will produce bright heads of flowers on sturdy stems from late spring right up until freeze. Fast-growing to about 18 inches tall and wide, 'Rocky Mountain Violet' will look great along walkways, in the ground or in containers. Pair with lower growing white flowering annuals to make the flowers pop, and blue toned flowers/leaves for a rich, elegant look. Deadheading spent stems will keep 'Rocky Mountain Violet' looking its best throughout the growing season and will encourage even more blooms.
