For those gardeners attracted by bright shiny objects, 'Rainbow Surprise' Coprosma may be just the thing. Small, ovate, shiny hot pink and green leaves stand out in the garden during the fall and winter, while the summer colors become more muted but much more varied, including pale pink, green, cream, and gold. Reaching four- to five feet tall and wide, 'Rainbow Surprise' makes an attractive specimen or hedge, and does well in large containers as well.
