There are so many different variations in colors and leaf shapes of coleuses, one could fill a 15" basket with several different varieties and not duplicate a single one. We have, in fact, done that with spectacular results. 'Vulcan' coleus provides a deep burgundy color with pink veins and chartreuse edges, standing about two feet tall and wide. Use it as the thriller in a hanging basket or container planter, or do a mass planting in the ground with absolutely stunning results. Pinching the tips will result in a bushier, lower profile. Pinching out the flower spikes as they appear will prolong the life of the plant.
