Close'Main Street Rodeo Drive' coleus has long been a favorite in the summer garden. Able to withstand sun as well as shade locations, the heavily lobed, ruffled green leaves are edged in purple, adding a unique texture and color to hanging baskets, container planters, and borders. This variety typically grows 12 to 18 inches tall and wide, though pinching out the tips will produce more branching and denser growth. Flowers are insignificant and though they may attract pollinators, many gardeners choose to cut out the flowers to prolong the life of the foliage. Good drainage and regular watering is key to this plant's good looks, whether it resides in the sun or shade.
