These Kong coleuses can have pride of place in the shadiest of summer gardens. If grown in pots, they can be brought inside for the winter.

Close'Kong Rose' coleus resembles many of the "regular" coleuses in coloring with a symmetrical pattern of dark red, pink, and green, but the sheer size of the leaves puts it in a class of its own. This specimen will flaunt its stuff in the shadiest of gardens, growing into an attractive upright mound, about 20 inches tall and a bit narrower in width. 'Kong Rose' will be the envy of gardeners with all-day sun because this variety does best in shade conditions, or at most, all-day filtered sun. Determined gardeners can grow 'Kong Rose' coleus in pots that can be brought indoors for the winter, but it will need a well-lighted room, preferably with a bit of direct morning light. One caveat: pets should NOT chew on coleuses.
