Not actually trailing, but plant this coleus at the edge of a hanging basket or container planter and watch it cascade over the sides

CloseLet's be honest, the number of trailing shade plants with color is somewhat limited and many of the flowering varieties need at least dappled sun to bloom reliably. 'Great Falls Angel' coleus fills the color gap with its spreading reddish-pink and green foliage that can drape over the edges of container planters and hanging baskets. Mounding eight to twelve inches tall before spreading up to 18 inches, this variety works well in borders or in mass plantings. Pinching out any flower spikes that appear will extend the life of the plant, usually right up until freeze.
