Close'Fifth Avenue' Coleus adds great textural and color interest to the summer garden, in borders or container planters and hanging baskets. This variety has an upright, mounding profile, reaching about 18 inches in height and spreading up to a foot wide. Pinching young tips will produce a bushier plant of reddish, serrated leaves edged in green and accented with splashes of bright pink. The variegation in color complements a variety of companion plants, whether it be other summer annuals or perennials. Like many coleuses, 'Fifth Avenue' adapts to full shade or sunny locations, though colors may change at either extreme.
