Named after the notoriously raucous street in New Orleans, this coleus is a little party in and of itself with lime green edges adding a zing to heavily scalloped burgundy red leaves. Fairly compact (and pinching the tips will keep it even bushier), 'Bourbon Street' coleus can handle sun or shade, though the colors may change somewhat depending upon the exposure. Consider planting this variety with other coleus plants for an astounding display of colors and textures, in hanging baskets or container planters. Tuck 'Bourbon Street' behind tuberous begonias and ferns in the shade garden or pair with sun-loving annuals such a bacopa or verbena.
