Formerly known as a Tradescantia, Callisia 'Pink Panther' has small green and pink leaves that trail down reddish stems.
Available in store
CloseCallisia repens 'Pink Panther' is a dainty version of the more common Tradescantias, with small pink, white, and green leaves that trail beautifully from hanging baskets or container planters. To maintain the variegation of the soft leaves, 'Pink Panther' should live in a well-lit room with lots of indirect light. Use it as a trailer in a combined planter, or let it grow on its own to form a mound that can reach a foot tall and trail even more. Pinch the tips of the stems to keep 'Pink Panther' compact, water thoroughly when the soil is dry, and don't be surprised if you see small flowers in the summer. Please don't let your furry friends chew on this callisia as it may cause digestive distress in your pet and will definitely diminish Pink Panther's good looks.
