When the temperatures rise and all those beautiful flowers suddenly disappear, bud worm is most likely the culprit.

CloseFirst-time gardeners may wonder what they've done wrong when all the flowers suddenly disappear from their previously beautiful summer baskets. If the foliage is healthy, check for little green worms, black specks on the leaves (that's the bud worm's poop), or holes in unopened flower buds. Those are all signs of bud worm, an easily remedied problem with Budworm Terminate, a foliar spray that is applied once a month. Drench the foliage (top and underneath) early in the morning or late in the evening when bee activity is low, and your baskets should return to their spectacular state in a matter of days.
How to apply: Mix 1 tbsp per quart of water and spray plants until dripping
