Sea Heart's leaves are a bit thicker than other varieties of brunnera and can hand a bit more sun if kept well watered.

Close'Sea Heart' Siberian Bugloss is an eye-catching shade plant with heavily veined silver and green heart-shaped leaves that can grow six to 12 inches tall, yet spread almost two feet wide. As is true of many shade-loving plants, Siberian Bugloss dies down in the winter, but emerges in the spring, with forget-me-not blue flowers appearing shortly after the foliage. Allegedly deer- and rabbit-resistant, the leaves of this brunnera are a bit thicker than some of its cousins and can handle a bit more sun, though dappled all-day sun may be best for foliage and flowers. Brunneras prefer regular watering throughout the growing season, and pairs well with other shade-loving plants in container planters, borders, or even hanging baskets.
