Broccoli is one of those vegetables that is either loved or hated, with few in between. For broccoli lovers, consider growing 'Premium Crop' broccoli for the large, tight main heads that are ready for harvest in about two months' time. Bite-sized heads will form on side shoots that can be harvested at will. Broccoli tastes best when grown in cooler weather, so plant in early spring before the last freeze or in late summer.
