Violet daisy-like flowers rise above lacy green foliage, adding a pop of color to sunny borders, container planters, and hanging baskets.

CloseSo named Swam River Daisy for its origins in Australia, 'Brasco Violet' brachyscome is a sun-loving perennial that is usually too tender to survive Pacific NW winters, although we have had several customers report its reappearance in the spring. To keep things simple, we treat it as an annual, tucking it into hanging baskets and container planters as a "filler," or planting it in sunny borders for a cheerful summer look. Brachyscome's fine lacy foliage adds a wonderful texture to mixed plantings, growing from 12 to 18 inches tall and about a foot wide. Gold-eyed daisies with violet petals bloom from late spring into the fall.
