Glossy dark green, almost black leaves resemble upright angel wings with deep red undersides and random "bumps" peppering the surface.

CloseRex begonias are all about their fabulous foliage, and 'Black Magic' is a real eye-catcher with its almost black, glossy angel-wing shaped leaves. The upright profile of this begonia shows off the red undersides of the leaves nicely, adding a dramatic touch to this evergreen house plant. While it can live happily in the outdoor summer shade garden, 'Black Magic' will not survive colder temps, so consider growing it year-round indoors as the "thriller" in mixed planters or in a pot of its own. If this specimen likes its environment enough to bloom, that could happen anytime during the winter into spring. Give 'Black Magic' lots of indirect light, water thoroughly when the surface soil is dry, and up the humidity if possible for the best looking specimen.
