CloseThe flavor of 'Romano' bush beans has been described as nutty by some growers but honestly, we have found them to be similar in taste to "regular' snap beans. It's actually the texture that is somewhat different, dare we say a bit meatier? Semantics aside, 'Romano' bush beans are definitely worth trying if you haven't grown them before. The compact but prolific bush makes it garden-friendly for those with limited space. Just be sure to plant it in full sun and try to water from below.
