Bean Pole 'Kentucky Wonder' Seed Pack
Availability: | In stock (7) |
'Kentucky Wonder' pole bean has been around since the 1800s and it is truly a wonder. Long, silvery-green pods are stringless when picked young and have the green bean flavor we all know and love. As the name indicates, this is a long vining plant so grow 'Kentucky Wonder' along trellises at least 6 feet tall. Some gardeners build tall frames, attaching heavy twine at the top and bottom for the vines to crawl up. However you choose to support this pole bean, make sure the vines get at least six hours of sun, and pick the pods often and when young. This will stimulate even more blooms for more beans!
