In our opinion, gardening should not be a stressful endeavor. But with all the possible combinations of flowers available in the nursery, some gardeners may get overwhelmed with the choices. Those new to gardening often need advice as to what plants work well together and just how many to include in a container planter. We're hoping our basket poppers will take the worry out of gardening, and speed up the process of achieving those gloriously full baskets that can be enjoyed right up until frost.

The small popper fits 12-inch baskets, perfect for the Rebels, and the large popper fits our passion baskets. Each popper is planted with a variety of annuals that we are confident will create the lush, colorful showpiece everyone dreams of. Simply fill your empty basket about 3/4 full with soil,* mix in our Root Power dry fertilizer, then remove the plastic liner and pop the "plant pancake" into the basket. The surface of the pancake should be about an inch below the rim of the planter; fill in with more soil so the pancake is firmly in place. Hang up the basket, water thoroughly, and you're good to go!

*One note about the hanging baskets. Each has a plastic grid that should rest above the bottom of the pot. This creates the water reservoir in the bottom (1 gallon in the Rebels, 3 gallon in the Passion Baskets). Soil goes on top of the grid. If your Rebel or Passion basket is missing the grid, give us a call. We can round one up for you; otherwise, your basket won't have that potentially plant-saving reservoir.
