CloseNorfolk Island Pine is a conifer but not a pine, it's just a pine look-alike with an upright main trunk and pyramidal form. Branches tend to be flat in a herringbone pattern with young growth more needle-like and the mature growth more scale-like. This is a slow grower, so works well as an indoor plant, especially if you're ultimately looking for a specimen-size tree.
