CloseThe Inca series of alstroemeria is considered a dwarf variety of Peruvian Lily, growing eight to twelve inches tall, and spreading 14 to 16 inches wide. 'Inca Ocean' bears lavender-hued, orchid like flowers from early summer up until frost, that are excellent cut flowers and attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Well-draining soil is a must, so it may be easier to grow this Peruvian lily in container planters or hanging baskets, as long as it gets lots of sun.
