CloseThe Inca series of alstroemeria is considered a dwarf variety of Peruvian Lily, growing ten to twelve inches tall, and spreading 12 to 16 inches wide. 'Inca Fire' bears fiery red, orchid like flowers from early summer up until frost, that are excellent cut flowers and attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Well-draining soil is a must, so it may be easier to grow this Peruvian lily in container planters or hanging baskets, as long as it gets lots of sun.
