CloseCommonly known as Bugleweed, Ajuga reptans 'Mahogany' is a fast-growing ground cover, forming dense mats of bronzy green leaves. Leaves grow slightly larger in partial shade than when grown in full sun. As a perennial, Bugleweed will normally die back, but may stay green in milder winters. Blue flower spikes in spring, sometimes continuing into summer. Excellent as a trailer in hanging baskets and planters.
