'Burgundy Glow' Carpet Bugle is well named, with variegated leaves that are tinged with bronze tones as they mature, while new growth emerges a rosy color. This variety of ajuga does well in shadier gardens and provides a bit of color and light along walkways, in container planters and hanging baskets. Blue flower spikes attract bees and hummingbirds, but deer don't care for it.
